Abacus Photography, run by Nick Davis is based in Rudloe, Corsham, Wiltshire, just 7.5 miles from Queen Square, Bath and within easy reach of Chippenham, Bristol and Swindon. With modern communications, if you do not wish to be present, it is perfectly possible to send your products by courier and receive regular updates by email of the progress of your shoot. If you have a large number of items to be photographed I am very happy to come to your premises and use them as a studio. Nick has been a professional commercial photographer for over twenty years and during this time has photographed everything from mobile cranes to royalty. He has even been to 10 Downing Street! What you get from him is a wealth of experience which can give your business or organization a more professional image and prevent obvious mistakes. In a world where everyone thinks they are a photographer this may give you an edge and will certainly increase your credibility.
He particularly enjoys working with people, and usually manages to establish rapport with his subjects whatever their status, having worked with everyone from chief executives down to people at “the sharp end” over the years and can even charm people who hate being photographed into relaxing and enjoying themselves. It's fashionable to claim to be “passionate” about what you do these days but this really is the case with Nick, he quite literally lives and breathes for photography and even does it in his spare time which has included a number of personal projects and public exhibitions over the years. Nick is also an Alamy contributor.
